Ryan, Sarah-Jane, Fynnlei & Nikolai Alcock's Family Tree
Welcome to our family tree. The desire to put this together came from an interest in the history of the various elements of my family, and when our daughter Fynn was born, it turned into a desire to show her all the various aspects of her family. As a result of this, it means that there are four individual families being covered here, and families being what they are, they are listed in alphabetical order.
There are a few notes on the various family trees. Firstly it sticks to a more traditional sort of listing, which means that only marriages are being listed - de facto relationships are not. As always, there are exceptions to this, and that is when the de factor relationship has produced a child. Secondly, for the sake of tact, there are certain parts of the family tree that are not listed. When it is appropriate those parts will be restored. Let me assure all that all families have had parts removed - no one is free from skeletons in the closet, it seems. Thirdly, and after much discussion, previous marriages are listed. I'm aware that some people may feel that that history is not something they want brought up, but marriages affect more than just the couple involved, and consequently that history is important to more than just the couple involved.
Finally, at present this only deals with four generations of each family. My aim is to get the details of these four generations completely accurate, and then start moving further back. I would love for as much help with this as I can get, so any updated or just plain better photos would be appreciated, and I would love to have the blanks in the details filled. Please feel free to email me doctorry@hotmail.com. Equally feel free to send pictures and information on generations stretching back, or if peripherals (no offense :)) to these trees would like their own families, all information will be received and updated when possible.
Oh, and one more finally :). I am aware that the layout of this family tree at the moment is very, very ordinary. As time goes on it will be a lot better. Stick with me!:)
